01START HERE

What is an IEP, in plain words?

An Individualized Education Program is a legal document that spells out the help your child receives at school. It is created with your family, not handed to you - federal law gives you a seat at that table.

1.

A written commitment

Services, goals, and supports your child is entitled to - in writing. If it isn't in the document, it isn't promised.

2.

A team you belong to

Parents are required members of the IEP team under federal law. Your observations count as data, and your consent matters.

3.

A process with deadlines

Evaluations, meetings, and changes all run on legal timelines. Knowing the clock is half the battle - we help you keep it.

02UNDER THE HOOD

Not magic. Not guesswork. Math.

School districts use compliance software that checks their own IEP paperwork. Families have never had the same tooling. TripFlare is that check, built for your side of the table.

Every determination it makes is deterministic - computed by an engine, not generated by a model. Identifiers, day-counts, service minutes, whether a signature's valid, boxes left blank, notice missing - all of it binary: find it or it isn't there, in your own doc's own ink.

THE QUESTION

Is your child actually getting the services the IEP promised?

01

Start with the question

Is your child actually getting the services the IEP promised? That's where every family's case starts.

02

Hand over the paperwork

The IEP and the district's own service logs. That is all the engine needs to get to work.

03

The engine does the math

Mandated minutes against delivered minutes, reconciled line by line - every gap attributed, nothing skipped.

04

Proof, not opinion

A shortfall you can see and check, with the legal citation validated behind it. Same facts, same answer, every time.

05

Your move

The finding explained in plain words, your next step, and a filing-ready record if you need to escalate.

PLAIN TRUTHZERO JARGON

Computed, not guessed

Every conclusion links directly to a specific rule, goal, timeline, or federal law - tied to word/line evidence so nothing is subject to opinion or bias.

DATA INTEGRITYDATA + TRUST

An honest mirror

TripFlare does not interpret, exaggerate, or add spin to data and findings - it reflects what's in your district's own words and lets you draw your own conclusion.

TIMESTAMPTIME + DATENO FABRICATION

Provably accurate, forever

Every TripFlare output is time-stamped. Flagged items are sourced back to a line, date, and page in the original document. A machine has no motivation to lie or fabricate - it has to be accurate or it doesn't work.

What a finding looks like

Not a paragraph of maybes - the gap, the math, and the citation behind it. You can check every line yourself.

03YOUR RECORDS, YOUR RIGHTS

Your child's records belong to you.

Everything TripFlare does starts with paperwork you already have a legal right to hold. Here is exactly how we treat it.

THE LAW IS ON YOUR SIDE

FERPA is your leverage

Federal law gives you the right to inspect your child's education records, ask for corrections, and consent before the school shares them. Most of what TripFlare helps you do begins with records you are already entitled to see.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Built for parents, not children

TripFlare is a tool for adults handling their own child's case. We do not market to children or collect anything from them directly, and records about your child reach us only from you, under your control.

OUR COMMITMENT

Never sold, never bartered

Your documents are not a product. We do not sell them or trade them, and nothing leaves your account without your say-so.

HOW IT IS HELD

A vault only you can open

Your documents are locked with a key created on your own device, which never leaves it and which TripFlare never sees. The vault holds copies, so your originals stay where they are, and you can export everything at any time.

And what we haven't done yet. TripFlare is pre-launch and carries no third-party security certification today. We intend to pursue one once real cases are running. When it is earned, it will be named here, and not a day before.

04HOW WE HELP

Support for every step, from first referral to next review.

Wherever you are in the process, there is a concrete next step. These are the ways TripFlare walks it with you.

1.

IEP guidance

We go through your child's IEP section by section and explain what each part actually commits the school to do.

2.

Meeting preparation

Checklists, the questions worth asking, and a calm plan - so you walk in prepared instead of outnumbered.

3.

Parent advocacy

How to put requests in writing, what the school's responses mean, and when it's time to bring in more help.

4.

Plain-language resources

Guides and glossaries that translate special-education law into everyday words, free to read and download.

5.

Your vault and your log

Keep every document, letter, and missed session in one place, locked with a key only you hold. Log a cancelled session the week it happens instead of reconstructing the year from memory, and those same records become the evidence the engine runs on.

6.

A judgment-free corner

This process is exhausting. You get encouragement here too, on the hard days as much as the meeting days.

TRIPFLARE - FOR FAMILIES

06ABOUT TRIPFLARE

Built by a parent, in the open.

TripFlare started at a kitchen table, with a stack of school paperwork and the slow realization that the process only works if you know the rules - and nobody hands parents the rules.

So we're building the thing we needed: a place where a family can bring an IEP, a letter, or a bad feeling about a meeting, and leave with a plain-language explanation and a concrete next step.

We'd rather tell you what's true than what's polished: TripFlare is in development now and opens to families in October 2026. What you see here is the real plan, published as we build it.
